Working with us
What does Great Automations do?
We are an AI and automation consultancy based in Surry Hills, Sydney. We map how growing businesses work, find where time is being lost, and close the gaps using AI, automation, integrations and monday.com.
Who do you work with?
We usually work with Australian businesses of about 50 to 300 people, with several teams handing work between them and leaders who know their systems are holding them back. We have dedicated practices for real estate, financial services and industrial businesses.
Are you a monday.com partner?
Yes. We are a monday.com Gold Channel Partner. monday.com is our main platform, and we also work with n8n, Make, Zapier, Xero and other tools where they are the better fit.
Where should we start?
Book a free discovery call. We will talk through what is not working, and suggest whether a discovery workshop, a focused first project or simply a few quick wins makes sense.
Do you only work in Sydney?
We are headquartered in Sydney and work with businesses across Australia, and with some clients in New Zealand. Most work can be done online, and we travel when being in the room matters.
Do you lock clients into long contracts?
No. Projects are scoped with you up front, and ongoing support is rolling monthly. You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
AI & Automation Consulting
Do we need to know what we want before we talk to you?
No. Most clients come to us knowing something is wrong but not exactly what to fix. Working that out is the point of discovery.
Will you just recommend monday.com?
We recommend what fits. monday.com is our main platform and we are a Gold Partner, but plenty of our recommendations use tools you already have, automation platforms like n8n or Make, or a process change with no new software at all.
Is AI safe to use with our client data?
It can be, with the right set-up. Part of our work is identifying which data an AI tool would touch, where it is stored and processed, and what controls you need. We give general guidance and will point out when you need legal or compliance advice.
How long does discovery take?
It depends on the size of the business and how many workflows are in scope. Our entry workshop is designed to deliver a written plan within five business days of the session. Larger discovery and design engagements are scoped with you up front.
What if our team is too busy to take part?
We keep the time we need from your people short and focused, and we do the mapping and write-up. A couple of hours from the right team leads gives us most of what we need.
Is it worth paying for discovery rather than going straight to a build?
Building without discovery is how businesses end up paying twice. Discovery tells you which changes are worth doing, in what order, and what the return looks like, before you commit a larger budget.
monday.com Implementation
What does being a monday.com Gold Partner mean?
Gold is one of monday.com's channel partner tiers. It reflects our delivery track record with monday.com customers, and it means we work closely with the monday.com team.
Can you fix our existing monday.com account?
Yes. Clean-ups and rebuilds are a big part of our work. We review what you have, keep what works, and restructure the rest around how your team operates now.
Do you help with monday.com licensing?
Yes. As a channel partner we can advise on the right products and plan for your team, and help you avoid paying for seats or features you won't use.
Our team won't adopt another tool. How do you handle that?
Adoption comes from fit. We involve your team in the design, build around the way they work, remove double entry so the platform saves them time, and train each role on what matters to them.
How long does an implementation take?
A focused first phase can be live in a few weeks. Larger, multi-team rollouts are delivered in phases over a couple of months. We agree the scope and timeline after a discovery call.
Do you offer support after go-live?
Yes. Our ongoing support is rolling monthly with no lock-in. You can cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
AI Agents & Automation
Which is better: n8n, Make or Zapier?
Each suits different situations. Zapier is quick for simple connections, Make handles more complex logic visually, and n8n is powerful and can be self-hosted when data location or volume matters. We recommend based on your needs.
What is an AI agent?
An AI agent is software that can carry out a task with some judgement, such as reading an email, working out what it is about, and creating the right record or reply. We design agents with clear limits and human review where needed.
What happens if an automation fails?
We build in error handling and alerts so failures are caught and visible, rather than discovered weeks later.
Industries
Does Great Real Estate replace our property management or sales software?
No. It works alongside them. Your industry software keeps doing what it does well, and Great Real Estate runs the operations around it.
Can it connect to PropertyMe or Box+Dice?
Yes. We have built integrations between PropertyMe and monday.com, and between Box+Dice and monday.com.
Is monday.com suitable for financial services firms?
Yes, when it is set up properly. We design the structure, permissions and workflows around your practice, and integrate it with the systems you already rely on.
Can you help with compliance?
We help you run compliance processes consistently, keep records organised and see what is outstanding. We don't provide legal or compliance advice, so your obligations should be confirmed with your licensee or advisers.
Can monday.com handle work orders?
Yes. We set up work order boards with scheduling, assignment, status tracking and reporting, and connect them to your other systems where needed.
Can people in the field use it?
Yes. monday.com has mobile apps, and we design simple forms and views for people working away from a desk.
